H2-Particulate Filter
WEH® H2-particle filters prevent contaminants such as swarf and material abrasion from entering the high-pressure system
and damaging the fitted fittings and equipment. They should therefore ideally be fitted directly downstream of the fluid source.
The filter elements are easy to replace and are available in fineness grades of 5, 35 and 65 μm.
The sintered stainless steel filter elements are hat-shaped and therefore have a filter surface area six times larger than that of
comparable disc filters.
Due to their design and large filter surface area, the pressure drop during flow is extremely low (max. 69 bar or 1,000 psi).

WEH® H2-particle filters have been specially developed and tested for hydrogen applications.
The housings are manufactured from special 316/316L alloys with controlled nickel, chromium and molybdenum content. This
significantly reduces the risk of hydrogen embrittlement, thereby guaranteeing a longer service life.
Typical applications include hydrogen storage systems, compressor units and dispensers, as well as test rigs for hydrogen
components.
