Wherever a shut-off valve is required that offers high flow capacity when open,
WEH® H2-ball valves are the ideal choice. The large technical nominal size minimises pressure loss during media flow.
The valves operate smoothly and are extremely durable, as the shut-off ball is mounted on a trunnion (trunnion style).
The WEH® H2-ball valves are available as standard as 2-way valves, and as 3-way valves on request. The 2-way version is
suitable for flow in both directions. Versions with pneumatic actuators are also available.
WEH® H2-ball valves can be mounted either frontally in panels (1/4“-20 UNC) or laterally on rails or holders (bore diameter
depending on size, see tables).

Applications
WEH® H2-ball valves are specifically designed and tested for hydrogen applications.
The bodies of all fittings and valves are made of special 316/316L alloys with controlled nickel, chromium, and molybdnum
content. This significantly reduces the risk of hydrogen embrittlement, thereby ensuring a longer service life.
Typical applications include hydrogen storage systems, compressor systems, and dispensers, as well as test systems for
hydrogen components.
