WEH® Breakaway coupling TSA31-S1 H2 35 MPa
More safety at hydrogen fueling stations with the new WEH® TSA31 H2 35 MPa breakaway coupling.
The breakaway coupling is installed directly between the filling hose to the fueling nozzle and the filling hose to the
filling station. If unexpected tensile forces occur, e.g. when a vehicle with a connected fueling nozzle drives away, the
TSA31 H2 35 MPa disconnects the connection between the dispenser and hose in a controlled manner. Both sides are
sealed pressure-tight directly after breakaway and therefore damage to the vehicle and the dispenser can be prevented
as far as possible.
The TSA31 H2 35 MPa has an increased nominal diameter and can therefore be used with refuelling sets with a maximum
flow rate of 60 g/s (H35) as well as 120 g/s (H35MF).
In the event of a breakaway, the base unit can be reused - no factory servicing is necessary. Only the receptacle insert
needs to be replaced or serviced. Therefore we offer a replacement receptacle insert, to avoid downtime at the dispenser.
The WEH® breakaway coupling consists of the base unit, the receptacle insert and a holding flange, which contains the
plug-in couplings for the data cable and purging cable. The integrated filter ensures clean filtered hydrogen and thus
prevents damage caused by dirt ingress. The TSA31 H2 35 MPa is suitable for use with pre-cooled hydrogen.
