The WEH® TSA1 H2 70 MPa Breakaway coupling was specially developed for 700 bar technology. The breakaway is installed directly at the dispenser of the car fueling station.

In the event of unexpected tensile forces, e.g. a vehicle driving away with a connected fueling nozzle, the breakaway separates the connections between dispenser and hose in a controlled manner while sealing both ends. Damage to the vehicule‘s receptacle, the fueling nozzle and the dispenser can thus be prevented as far as possible. The breakaway coupling can be reused after a functional test.The integrated filter cleans the hydrogen from dirt ingress and can be cleaned easily and quickly during maintenance.

The WEH® breakaway coupling consists of the coupling body and the receptacle insert. A fuel pump bracket is available as an accessory. For fueling nozzles with a data interface, the TSA1 H2 70 MPa is also available with a data cable that can be mounted on the bracket.

Refueling kits are also available. They consist of a fueling nozzle, hose set, tear-off protection, fuel pump holder, and data cable.
